Lucky customers will be notified by SMS and email on the day the bill amount is credited to their Pay account.
How do you predict my bills and subscriptions?
Using your past transactions as a guide – including those from any other bank accounts you’ve connected to our app – we’ll predict your next payments for your regular bills and subscriptions and show them in the ‘Coming Up’ tile of the 86 400 app.
We currently predict your regular payments to over 200 companies, including popular entertainment and food subscriptions, phone, internet, fitness, utilities and also home, car and health insurance.
Which predicted bills are eligible for the Pay It Forward promotion?
To be entered into the weekly draw, your predicted bill or subscription needs to:
- be displayed in the ‘Coming Up’ tile of the 86 400 app,
- have a predicted amount between $5 and $100, and
- have a predicted due date within the next 7 days.
For each predicted bill that meets this criteria, you’ll automatically receive one entry into our weekly draw, which is held every Friday.
How do I increase my chances of being selected?
The more predicted bills and subscriptions you have in the ‘Coming Up’ tile of the app, the more chances you have of being randomly selected in our weekly draw.
By connecting your other bank accounts to the 86 400 app using our Connected Accounts feature, you’ll not only get total visibility of your money, but better sight of all your regular bill payments and subscriptions.
Follow the prompts in the ‘Accounts’ tab of the app – setting it up takes just a couple of minutes!
Why aren't all my bills and subscriptions being predicted?
We use your past transactions to help predict your regular payments for over 200 companies, including popular entertainment and food subscriptions, phone, internet, fitness, utilities and also home, car and health insurance.
You’ll need to have made a couple of payments already to one of these companies, and for those transactions to be visible in the 86 400 app, before we predict any future payments. For example, if you have a monthly streaming subscription, you’ll need to have made a few payments for it already before it will be show up in the ‘Coming Up’ tile of your app.
If you’ve recently connected one of your other bank accounts to the 86 400 app, please allow up to 24 hours for all of your transactions to be retrieved before checking to see your predicted bills and subscriptions for that account.
What happens if I'm selected in the weekly draw?
If you’re one of over 100 customers selected at random each week for our Pay It Forward promotion, you’ll receive a credit to your Pay account for the value of one of your predicted bills or subscriptions.
Remember, you’ll still need to check your bill for the actual due date and amount, and arrange to pay your bill as you normally would. But the amount we credit to your Pay account should help towards covering it!

The Pay It Forward promotion will run from 22 May 2020 to 3 September 2020.
Customers will be automatically entered into the Promotion after an eligible bill is recognised in the ‘Coming Up’ feature of the 86 400 app.
Limit of one (1) entry per eligible bill per draw is permitted during each promotional period.
Major and minor prize draws will occur weekly (each Friday) during the promotional period. The draw method is random electronic selection. The weekly draws commence on Friday 22 May 2020 and the last weekly draw takes place on Friday 4 September 2020. All draws to take place at 9:00am AEST. If any particular draw is scheduled on a public holiday, the draw will be conducted on the following business day.
Winning entrants will be notified within 5 business days of each draw. Each winner will receive an SMS notifying them of the winning bill and be credited to the value of their winning bill within 5 business days of the draw subject to the terms of this Promotion.
